GeoPerformans is looking for an Urban Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer, who works on developing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs), specialized on urban environments. 

The ideal candidate is expected to contribute in research and development tasks such as fine tuning (SFT = instruction tuning), reinforcement learning (RLHF, DPO), retrieval augmented generation as well as more advanced tasks at the cutting edge of research. In collaboration with the data & engineering teams, data collection, cleaning, processing, validating and optimizing workflows must be in production, in an agile way. The engineer will spend time mentoring junior research engineers in the completion of their tasks.

    • Scikit-Learn, Jupyter, Pandas, Numpy
    • Pytorch / Tensorflow
    • Reinforcement Learning / Supervised Learning
  • Natural Language Processing
    • Data Collection and Preprocessing
    • Text Representation and Embeddings
    • Language Models
    • Experience with common NLP tasks such as spelling correction, text classification, token classification (NER, PoS etc..), machine translation.
  • Large Language Models / Multimodal Large Language Models
    • Huggingface transformers
    • Prompt engineering
    • Instruction Tuning (SFT)
    • Model Deployment
